Spider Digitizing is a production shop, not a marketplace. Your mark goes in one end and machine-ready files come out the other: embroidery digitizing, vector redraws, and custom patches as the core work, with a digital services team attached for web, search, social, paid media, and apps.

The process, start to finish

  1. Art in. You send artwork with finished width in inches, placement, fabric, and deadline. Any of these source formats: AI, EPS, PDF, SVG, CDR, PNG, JPG, PSD.
  2. Quote. We read the artwork before we price it. You get a fixed number against the posted schedule — free to ask, binding once you approve.
  3. Digitize or redraw. A person sets every stitch direction, underlay, and density for the stated fabric, or redraws your art as clean vectors. No auto-tracing shipped as handwork.
  4. Sew-out. Files are test-sewn on comparable fabric before they reach you. If it puckers, gaps, or drifts, it does not ship.
  5. Deliver. Files land in your account's download area, and they are yours — including sources.

The review gates every file passes

  • Rights check: we confirm you may reproduce the mark before production starts.
  • Size sanity: stitch count against finished size, so a left chest never carries a jacket back's worth of stitches.
  • Fabric setup: underlay and density matched to what the design will actually sew on.
  • Sew-out proof: test run on comparable fabric, checked at arm's length and under magnification.
  • Spec match: revisions needed to meet the approved spec are included until it matches.

Machines and formats

We output machine files for all major commercial and home equipment: DST (Tajima), EMB, PES (Brother), EXP (Melco), JEF (Janome), VP3 (Pfaff), HUS (Husqvarna), and XXX (Singer). Vector deliverables go out as AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, or CDR. Rush turnaround is 4 hours on digitizing and vector work; standard is 12 — in by 5pm ET, back by 9am ET.

Licensing position

We follow NFHS and NCAA mark restrictions, and we do not reproduce marks you do not have the rights to use. League and level belong in the quote request so sizing and construction follow rule from the first draft.

What we ask customers to send

  • The artwork — clean files sew faster; rough ones get quoted as a redraw first, honestly.
  • Finished width in inches and placement: left chest, cap front, full back, sleeve, jacket back.
  • Garment or fabric type, so density and underlay match reality instead of a guess.
  • Deadline with timezone. "ASAP" is not a date; Friday noon ET is.
  • Pantone codes when thread colour matters, so the Isacord/Madeira match is approved by you first.
  • Quantity and patch size if patches, since per-piece pricing moves with both.
